Featured Preview of 'Gossip Girl' 2.17: Carnal Knowledge

Things are getting more and more complicated between Blair and her new teacher, Rachel Carr, in the next "Gossip Girl". Blair devises a plan to bring down the teacher in retaliation for not playing by the unspoken rules of Constance Billard and finds it easier when she knows that Dan may have an affair with the young teacher.

In "Carnal Knowledge", Serena spots Dan in a bar with Rachel. After Chuck wakes up in a hotel and only has a minor recollection of what happened the previous evening and who he spent the evening with, Nate and Vanessa try to help him fill in the missing pieces of what is turning out to be an increasingly intriguing mystery.

The episode will air Monday, February 2.

Meanwhile, a scoop from E! spills that a "former bigtime couple" are getting back together and it is neither Blair and Chuck or Nate and Jenny.

nate and serena maybe...? i really really hope so...ive always thought they make a much better pair than nate/vanessa/jenny or dan/serena.
does any one know why there wasnt an episode this week?

I'm not sure, how the show relates to the book but I know that Blair and Nate used to break up and get together all the time. but I would NOT like that.

i bet the big time couple that is getting back together is serena and nate!! and after reading someone else's post...nate and blair seems like a big possibility as well? interestinggggg
too bad its not jenny and nate though i really wanted to see what that would have been like...

I wish that Vanessa and Nate break up. I hate them. And since i am almost 100% sure that it is not going to be Blair and Nate. I hope it is gonna be Vanessa and Dan or Vanessa and Chuck

All the gossip posts say that the new couple is not nate and jenny...even though all recent pics posted suggest that, they also say that it will upset all the people who want blair and chuck together and mess that one up for a while! so i say blair and nate for sure.

I never thought of that one... Vanessa and Dan? They could be the big time former couple getting back together but how would that make sense when they clearly did not have kept their affections for each other. I don't see that happening though. They are more "friends" than "couple.

Anyhow, I believe it would be Blair and Nate getting back together. A lot of people suggested that as well and I could see it happening. I do love, love, love seeing Chuck and Blair together but Chuck blew it oh so many times and I hate being like "GOD CHUCK, WAKE UP!!". Blair gave him so many chances and I don't blame her for leaving him for good. I don't see Nate as the best candidate but he's better than anyone else on the show.

Dan... well let's just say that he's part of a parallel we can easily ignore. A big screw up (poor Serena)! And as for Ms. Carr... well she'll get what she deserves! Go Blair!

wow carnal knowledge...was in short a jaw-dropper. Even for a Gossip Girl regular. Ms. Carr will have her downfall. Blair had a close call with everything she'd be working for. But her father is right about what kind of person she wants to be- that was nice to have some parental advice when normally the parents allow their kids to do whatever they want. N&V were useless in this episode. Why weren't Nate and Chuck at school?? Poor Chuck is so confused. He needs to go back to Blair. Blair needs to learn her lesson for good, though. She is very, very lucky.
