How old is sam?

I know dean was 26 in season one which makes him about 30 now, but i cant figure out how old sam is, does anyone know?

    I think it's less. I don't think that each season correlates with the passing of one year.

    one season does mean one year, for example in the first episode of this season sam said dean was gone for about 4 months, which is the same amount of time we all had from the end of season 3 to the beginning of season 4. bcooper is right i checked wikki and dean is 30 and sam is 26. thanks for all your help.

    Dean's official birthday is January 24th 1979 and Sam's is May 2nd 1983. Supernatural's timeline is pretty much 1:1 with when it airs. If a week goes by since we watched the last one, a week goes by for them. Unless it's a "To be continued" episode.
