The L Word's Status:
The L Word is now in its 6th and final season on Showtime. While there will be some closure to the series with this the planned final season, The L Word is a unique and creative show that still has a lot that could develop, so it's not too late to keep the L Word on the air!

the l word isn't being canceled, it's just ending.
In the land of TV, it's actually referred to as a cancellation whether the show is coming to a natural end or is ending prematurely.
sorry, i meant that i was under the impression that it is coming to its natural end.
I love the l word, but I think it's the right time to end it.
love the L-word too, the final season starts really great.
Better give it a nice ending now than see the show drag on too long and get crappy.
I think , instead of calling to have more seasons of The L word, we should ask for a sequel in a few years or push for a movie
they are having a spin-off
OMG... no way Their is so much more they can do i dont want it to end i mean they can at least finish the last season with more then 7 episodes geez !!! SAVE THE L WORD !!!
I heard they are auctioning off all of the L-Word set and production stuff...clothing, furniture, accessories!!!

As much as I love the L word I am sure the lovely ladies would like to move on to other projects. . I am looking forward to seeing what these women are going to work on in the next few years.
