Apparently I wasn't the only one that reacted poorly to the news that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will not be hitting movie screens until July 2009.
Potterphiles have whipped up everything from Facebook groups (The Delay of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Has Ruined My Life.) to petitions to Howlers (sent by Dumbledore's Army, no less).
This Wired blog entry sums up the above efforts (as well as some others) by Potter Fans nicely.
