Lost: The Little Prince - Heartbroken Sawyer, Ubiquitous Lawyer

| loading

*Episode Spoilers*

I assume the title of the episode refers to Aaron although, frankly, the kid is a little dull. He was born on a time-traveling, smoke-monster infested, inexplicably paranormal island! Would it be so implausible for the wee fella to have some kind of freaky ability? How about gills? Hallucinogenic saliva? Or, perhaps, laser-beam retinas? All we've seen him do is cry and eat fries.

Despite all his boringness, Kate still wants to keep him so she heads over to see her mystery rival's lawyer. Sun agrees to babysit and receives a package with colorless pictures of Ben and bearded Jack. Oh, and a golden box of chocolates atop a handgun. A little unrealistic if you ask me. I mean, who uses black and white film anymore?

Kate tries to make a deal ...continue reading

I completely agree about Aaron - not interesting at all! Sure, he's a kid, but he's old enough now to be talking and coming out with all sorts of bizarre things, so come on now! As for Ben, was he trying to get Aaron just as part of getting all the 6 back to the island? It seems he's convinced they'll get Kate, so why wouldn't he just wait for Kate to bring him? I guess it was as you say to mess with her head or something along those lines.

I'm not sure what Ben's motivation was for the Aaron thing either. Maybe he thought if he had Aaron then Kate would surely follow. I hope his reason is more interesting than that though!

my guess is that the reason ben wants aaron has something to do with claire... after all, we dont really know what happened to her. also, bens lawyer is in contact with claires mother... something is up with that, im sure!

I think Ben was convinced he'd get Kate because he set up the lawyer and blood test scare. Kate is known to run away when things get sticky, so I assume Ben was planning for Kate to turn to Jack for help, and Jack is already on-board the back to the Island train.

As for the boat, there was a conversation between Sawyer and Juliet about the Zodiac, and how things that were with them appear to move through time with them. Which is why Locke had the compass, they still have their clothing, etc.
