since the new series 90210 is premiering soon

i was just wondering... would i have to watch the 1st series. in order to understand the second one

I've never watched the 1st series but i do want to watch the second series

if any one knows where i can watch the 1st series please let me know :)

    You definitely won't have to watch the original. It's being hailed as a spinoff and it does have a few of the old characters (Jennie Garth's "Kelly" and Shannen Doherty's "Brenda"), but it seems more like a reboot.

    If you do want to watch the original though, the first 3 seasons are available on CBS.com. Check out SideReel's Beverly Hills 90210 page to get the links.

    Ohh thts cool...cuz i deff wanna watch the new series...

    yeah you dont have to watch the orginal series to understand the second one but if you want you can watch a marathon on the states channel called soapnet on sept 1st
