Believable?

| loading

Episode 3 - Stage Fright Echo becomes a backup singer to watch out for a female singing sensation with a very overzealous fan. They also hire a bunch of hug bodyguards to stand around and look tough. After the overzealous fan had taken a few pop shots at the superstar. Gotten away with a kidnapped fan. The superstar is left by herself in a dark studio. So that the then fired Echo. Could kidnap the superstar to trade for the kidnapped fan. With a homicidal crazed fan on the loose. Our pop-star would have been locked down tight. With all of those hug bodyguards all around her. At-lease make these shows somewhat believable if you want us to take it seriously.

Dude, learn how to write in complete sentences before you start writing reviews.

And also, I can't believe you're debating believability in a science fiction show.

Whedon's shows have never been about believability, at least not on the service. He constantly throws as much "unreality" at the audience as possible, so they can quickly get past the setting and focus on the characters - their growth and connections.

i agree with fatewalker. you just have to suspend your disbelief on the actual scenario and focus on the overall story Whedon is trying to convey.

I get it, really I do. But it's so much funner do be fooled. With Buffy it was so far over the top and funny in places. that when you get it the gaps in logic. You know not to take it seriously. I'm still going to watch the show. I liked at the end were echo and Sierra had that knowing look. Echo then shakes her head as in to say lets not talk here. SO! does this mean that they keep some of what they had?

I think it's plausible that the woman wouldn't have allowed any bodyguards near her in her house/studio/whereever. They can care all they want but if she won't let them near her the best they can do is try and stop anyone from entering the house, and Echo was already inside.

Also, dear god, is your "." button broken?
