El Haji Malik

Dear Loretta,

I want to make you aware of a few names you probaly have not recalled in a number of years, Wayne Luckette, Herman Hicks, Fred Ellison, Spencer Harris (deceased), Don Johnson, Willie Calhoun(deceased) and myself Roosevelt Elo we performed together many years ago at the University of Houston in Day of Abscence(I was the mayor) and El Haji Malik.

We seek nothing. I just want you to know how much pleasure each of us derive seeing you on the big screen. I saw "Crash" once again recently, I was in Acres Home. I stopped at a cafe my dad use to attend and I thought of your father. I met him once long ago in 1966 or was it 1967, I'm not sure.
