Jason Bateman to Boss George Clooney Around

Jason Bateman isn't hurting for work while the Arrested Development flick is in, uh, development.

The actor has joined Up for Air, an adaptation of the Walter Kern novel that will reunite him with Juno director Jason Reitman, reports Variety. George Clooney stars, as a corporate bigwig who is obsessed with accumulating frequent-flyer miles. Bateman plays Clooney's boss.

Bateman, who can next be seen in April's State of Play, most recently signed on to Baster, a comedy with Jennifer Aniston.
