Will Heroes be canceled? In two declarative statements, maybe and I hope so. There is such a big disconnect between the characters and the average viewer. I personally stopped watching when Hayden Pannatierre got herself into trouble in Japan for storming onto a fishing boat, so that she can liberate the dolphins...(sporadic clapping) Way to go you blond pile of cookoo's nest, glad to see that you can still tell where the show stops and the real world begins.
I tried to continue watching the show recently but the melodramatic tone just doesn't fit with somber one I seem to be in, what with the world's economy slowly flushing down the crapper.
This reminds me of my favorite quotes from a professor friend of mine, he says that people are more likely to believe in the supernatural, alien abductions, magic abilities and the like when things are going well. It's when things are really going shitty that these beliefs are let go, because they seem ludicrous in comparison to the reality of losing your house and living on the street or losing a family member to violence. I say this because try as I may to watch Heroes, I just can't suspend disbelief enough to enjoy it, and well I just find myself wishing that South Park would release more episodes. If there was ever a time humor it would be now. So I say Heroes be damned and after an oral diarrhea like that I am going to need some toilet paper GOOD DAY.
