Lost: Last Week's Episode

In last weeks episode of LOST, Ben saved John's life and then killed him. Why did he save his life only to turn around and kill him himself? Some input on the reason for this would be appreciated. fredciti

    My thinking was that Ben needed the information from Locke like who he was told to go see (Eloise) and whatever else he could get like Jin's wedding ring to help get any or all of the Oceanic 6 to agree to go back.

    Thanks for the input. I thought the same thing but wasn't sure. There's another mystery they never cleared up that I wonder about. Not sure if it was last season or previous one. Anyway, when theygot off the island and Sun had her baby, at first they tell her it's a girl but after they show her husband buying the Teddy Bear for a male son. So did Sun have a baby boy or girl. Did I miss something that was dhown at some other time. I looked for an answer and watched LOST on ABC full free episodes a few times and couldn't find an answer. Thanks again for your input.

    Sun (and Jin) had a baby girl. The baby boy for whom he was buying the panda was on behalf Sun's father, his boss, in order to ease into business negotiations.


    It was a Lost psych to tease the viewer into believing the flashback (Jin) was in any way related to the flashforward (Sun).
