Entertaiment Weekly has constructed one of their giant lists - this one of canceled-too-soon TV shows, in honor of the DVD release of one such show, Andy Richter Controls the Universe.
Popular favorites on the list include Moonlight, Journeyman, Firefly, Swingtown and this season's Life on Mars (but no Eli Stone?!).

I'm not sure why, but that terrifying Moonlight photo is intriguing me to actually get around to watching it one of these days!
But as for those I miss and sorely wish hadn't gotten canceled, Journeyman is at the top of my list, then Firefly and My So-Called Life, though I didn't watch these two much until after cancellation, so I wasn't as distraught as dealing with Journeyman's cancellation after I'd been hoping for so much more! I could have also done with more Swingtown and Tell Me You Love Me.
I had a look, not a lot of those shows even made it across the water to the UK! I saw Grosse Pointe though which I thought was quite clever and funny and possibly should of been saved.
I agree, Kendra. Journeyman's cancellation was a pity, as I was enjoying it a lot. I've gotten to the point where I won't bother watching new shows when they first come out. I'd rather wait to see if they are picked up for a second season, then catch up in a marathon of downloading.
I agree with Invasion and the Comeback, but where is Reunion...and the best show ever to get cancelled, Joan of Arcadia?!?
For me its got to be Firefly, and The Adventures of Brisco county jr i loved those two shows even over here across the pond. They always made me laugh and Firefly still does, great shows lost to the pens of people with no imagination.
They should have never cancelled Firefly...that's just one of the best shows ever on TV...i still don't understand how the could cancel an awesome show like that. It's a real shame.
And Moonlight just was going to become interessting and exciting, right when they cancelled it!
Also i genuinely think that Pushing Daisies was way too short
people just dont appreciate quirky and cute and funny anymore
