Jennifer Beals Brings Ex Appeal to Lie to Me

Fresh off her six-season run as The L Word's Bette, Jennifer Beals has signed on for a short-term role on Fox's freshman hit Lie to Me.

Beals will guest-star as Zoe Landau, the ex-wife of Tim Roth's Cal Lightman (and Emily's mother). When Zoe, an assistant U.S. Attorney, hires The Lightman Group to offer their expertise on an arson case, it becomes clear that she and Cal still carry a torch for each other.

Beals' multi-episode arc, which was first reported on by EW's Ausiello, kicks off Wednesday, April 29.
