We have the new trailer, titled "Philosophical," for SciFi Channel's upcoming Stargate Universe, only on SCI FI Wire. It debuted tonight during the airing of Stargate Continuum.


Stargate Universe is a spinoff of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis and follows the adventures of explorers who start off on a reconnaissance mission to the Destiny, a ship built by the Ancients, only to wind up on a never-ending mission when the crew learns the ship can't return to Earth.


It debuts later this year on SCI FI.

    '....never ending mission.....' Oh dear. That's a bad start. Until the ratings drop at any rate!

    They said that this shw would be more about peapol(humans) then aliens ... they said they made a lot of alien based series and now they wanna change!


    I see this as a attempt to get some of the BSG fans along the ride ...


    I defenetly think that they wil have a really had time since Caprica will come out approximativly at the same time!!!


    IMO the casting sucks atm ... I know casting change every now and then in SG but this one seems on the weak side to me !!!
