I think he can control his power to activate only when he wants to.. sort of like Ando and his power?
And did we actually see Peter fly in "Turn and face the strange"? When him and Angela arrived at Coyote Sands, they came in a vehicle.
The last power he took was Nathan's. He hasn't taken one since then. But I'm sure they will find a way to give him his powers back just like they did Ando. And just like they did when he originally lost his powers. We all know the writers can't commit to anything on Heroes.
Just because he touched Angela, doesn't mean he meant to absorb her ability.
Didn't Peter touch Sylar? That would mean he got them all, no?
Peter hasn't touched Sylar since he got his new ability, no. And if he did touch him, I suspect he would probably gain only one of his abilities randomly, not the whole collection.
If Peter touched Sylar he would probably get the last power Sylar used.
I suspect Peter will get his powers again and it'll be up to him to save them all from Sylar. In a way Peter and Sylars powers started off very similar. They could both keep on absorbing powers until eventually they would end like Dr Manhatten in Watchmen, god-like and completely cut off from humanity. That's increasingly how Sylar is becoming. He's basically invincible now anyway!
I hope they don't give Peter his power back and limit him at one at a time. Trimming back his and Hiro's powers evens out the powers of the Heroes so they are now all as powerful as each other, but more powerful if they combine together!
I think they should give peter he old ability back or something better. I don't think if all the heroes combine together can't beat Sylar
I think if Peter take Sylar ability he will get sylar absorbing powers cuz that was hes first power he had . But i don't think sylar would let peter touched him at all he is to strong
Yea actually don't you guys remember on that plane Peter accidently touched Tracy and he got the power to freeze by mistake and lost mohinder's power thats why he got his butt kicked and then he accidently froze a hole in the plane. He probably learned to control it quickly though. But yea Peter needs to get his power back, that was what made him cool on the show and he is just a punk. Yea Hiro could still kill Sylar just with the ability to stop time if he gets his sword back. I have a feeling this new episode will open up more plot holes, thats just how heroes rolls and Im cool with that, I kinda like the whole "WTF that doesn't make sense" thing, it keeps me watching.

peter can only absorb one power at a time at will and by pysically touching a person. he can touch angela and not take her power if he wants. he hasnt absorbed anybodys power since nathans therefore he is able to fly until he absorbs another power
hahaha shadohw i agrre about hiro finding parkman i asked the exact same question lol, alls i remeber was suresh saying he hasnt got a clue about his whereabouts haha.

I totally agree with you maladroit the writers seem as if they have dug themselves in a hole and are trying to dig themselves out. Im not surprised because many of the original writers have left Heroes for other projects and these new guys seem to be playing catchup, and it is hurting the show unfortunately :(
