Wolverine Wins the Box Office - Featured

X-Men Origins: Wolverine had a huge debut at the box office this weekend, taking in $85.1 million dollars (down slightly from a previously estimated $87 million). This is $15 million dollars less than the last X-Men film, but still an impressive debut (especially with that whole internet leakage debacle).

Matthew McConaughey RomCom Ghosts of Girlfriends Past took in second place, with $15.4 million dollars.

Moviegoers were not quite as Obsessed this week, as the film fell 57% to 3rd place, though it took in another $12.2 million.

Other top performing films:

17 Again - $6.4 million

Monsters vs Aliens - $5.8 million

The Soloist - $5.7 million
