So my friend's dad is Jonas Armstrong's (robin hood) agent. She says that there is a fifty fifty chance he's gonna leave the show in season 4 if they dont pay him enough.

sorry to tell you, dear. but most of us already know that. im pretty sure that its been confirmed that both the actors who portray robin and the sheriff are leaving the show at the end of the season.

no, i heard it too that robin was leaving. As sad as it sounds, without Marion the show has lost credibility. They're changing the legend!! Anyway, how much farther can they twist it? I think that Jonas Armstrong and the other actors could definitely succeed after the show ends, whether they choose to leave now or when they are forced out.
not Sheriff Gisborne. Sheriff Vaisey. haha. good point though. I do agree that killing off Marian was a really bad idea but i think they'll find something to do

robin hood without robin hood, primeval without that main prof guy....listen english writers you cannot have shows without the main characters
They could easily switch to a new actor in the lead role by having Robin of Locksley die heroically, and having another actor play Robert Earl of Huntingdon, a heroic noble who steps in to fill Robin's Hood and take up his mantle against Prince John. In the legendarium surrounding Robin Hood, both men have a claim to the title Robin Hood (with it being slightly more likely that Robert Earle of Huntingdon was the source of legend, so far as I know)
but robin hood is the earl of huntingdon as well as robin of locksley if you watch first ever episode he gets called robin hood earl of huntindon
ok..killing off so many of the main characters just sucked, especially Robin...I was never a fan of Marion...maybe it was just the actress they chose for the part but I didnt loose any sleep over her departure...loosing Alan, well that is another story....and I'm hanging on to a little faith that Robin has NOT yet left the story...I mean they didnt burn or bury him as yet...and yes there is still Will and Djac...maybe they were over the hill and coming with old world remedies....I'm tryin to be an optomist here...Robin Hood cannot be without Robin Hood...they may squeeze out a season 4 with Archer as his replacement but I dont think it will fly....if Jonas doesn't return I will faithfully be a fan of his in whatever he chooses to do and I tip my hat off to him for making one of the most believable Robin Hood's brought to the screen.
