Waiting for new seasons..

I love this show and can't for the life of me understand why it was cancelled. Show's like NYPD Blue have been on for over ten years, law and order takes it's episodes straight from the news so why was this one cancelled? Could they seriously not have come up with anything to write about? The ending was ok, I thought it could of been better. And just curious, why isn't there any other seasons on here?
