I'm afraid I have to disagree with you, no offence =)

I love the show even more than when it started! I guess it's one of those things you either love or hate...and I have to say, I have to think really hard to find out what I don't like about it!

Have you watched the whole 5 seasons without any spoiling?

If you did so, I find it hard to understand you didn't like it!

Well, maybe it isn't your kind of show at all, unlike all that fans you were talking about.

Again, no offence, I totally respect your opinion mate.

I like it but it isn't that good, it has moment's but i'm speaking for myself when i say the flashback's are annoying, i don't really care what happened before the plane crash... but thats just me

@Arcdemon: i kinda agree. I just think that the flashbacks and the "what happend before" things are connected to the isle-story and therefor necessary.

Still, about 90% of these are just boring..

I think Sahyd and LaFleur-Flashbacks were kinda interesting, because they had some action in them, but especially the "I'm a doctor who desperatly tries to make his daddy proud"-flashbacks just sucked...

It was kinda lucky, that I missed the first 3 seasons and had to watch it later.. Allowed to skip those scenes and continue with the more interesting parts ;-D

Can't wait for the last season to start.. and be over :-D

If you know anything about human nature you will know that everything that happens to us is part of a chain of events in our lives. everything we do today effects what happens later. These flasbacks are menat to help us understand what triggers the survivers to make the decisions they are making now.

As far as Jack......I don't think everything he did was to please his father. Maybe some things at the beginning of his career. That is also human nature, most people want to please their parents, at some time. but I doubt that he turned in his father at the hearing because he was trying to please him. He may also, at times, had been trying to show his father he was not going to give up or give in to situations that appeared hopeless.

You can see the relationship of the flashbacks to what is going on in the present. There are also many events that are freaky like Jack meeting desmond before he ended up on the island. The events that brought Claire to the island....it is as though They were meant to be there.

If you don't like Lost, you can just get out!

    (Reference: South Park "Goobacks") :p

Long live Lost and the loyal losties, even though the show only has one season left. Lost is the greatest show yet, no doubt. Cause its not just some crazy storyline, its a show about people and life. Its not a passive show neither, it encourages its viewers to discover new ideas, different cultures and books too! B.F. SKINNER's Walden Two, Catch-22, Slaughter house V, Ulysses, A brief history of time etc. all great books to read before the 6th season begins, don't forget to check out the official abc website and the book club for more info. On behalf of the Dharma Initiative, the De groots and Alvar Hanzo, good luck and NAMASTE!

P.S. Also don't forget to check out lost untangled, this wednesday the 3rd of June, also on the official ABC website.
