I think OTH is getting back to being amazing again.
Yeah i agree with jaivomi.. and i love NAILEY.. and ladybird2008, does mouth seriously leave for good? I thought he'd be back ):

I thought the first episode was AMAZING. I was happy to see that Peyton and Lucas finally got together. I spent all last season wishing theyd be together and now the wait is finally over. I don't think the show is boring at all and I think Mark Schwan is doing an EXCELLENT job with the show!!! Cant wait to see more!
I heard that Mouth is still going to be on the show, and on his new job he get's an intern and its Gigi =)
ladybird i think it turning into a lil more adult is the point
fifth season was BORING LIKE HELL!
now when i watched the new season (season 6) i felt rejuvenated
i felt that it WAS GETTING SO MUCH BETTER!
i have feel like i used to feel watching the show
all these mood swings every minute something new and yeah mouth leaving is sad
but nahh i dont think they will kick him off
i agree with most of what u said ladybird, the peyton-lucas thing was bound to happen, but that doesnt mean that it doesnt suck to all those brucas fans out there. and i agree that brooke needs to find herself a boy! but im actually glad mouth is leaving. his character was always 'the nerdy guy who never got the girl' but now he's got the girl...where exactly would his character go from there? he was kinda one dimensional...he will me missed a lil bit...but the show can definitely survive without him.
I agree with XXBLOODYXX, the show skipped college and went to them all being adults. So the show itself is going to be a bit more grown up. But, I personally like that. I have grown up as they have all grown up, so its nice to see the show changing with me. I'm 18 now, so if it was a bit more highschool, I think I would like it less. And season five was, in my eyes, no doubt the worst season yet. The best thing about OTH is the drama, and season five had virtually none of that. Its only been the first episode of season six and I already love it. It was filled with drama, and, like it used to, I was hooked. Tbh, I am not too bothered about Mouth leaving, and I think Millicent leaving will affect the show more, in the way Brooke is really going to struggle to fight Victoria without her. Overall though, I am loving it.

Brooke isn't with anyone cause the trying to show that Brooke is a strong woman by herself...
There is nothing wrong with Peyton and Lucas' relationship...
And maybe it's just Mouth's time to go and anyway he didn't make that much of a difference in the sixth season...

totally NOT boring, even tho the fifth season wasnt the best, it still had alot of good stuff (all the little leyton moments...<3) and well, DUH, its kinda gonna be like an adult show since they're all ADULTS now! but i'm a teenager and i'm still watching it! i think brooke has shown that she doesnt really need anyone, so there's no point in that argument. and in my opinion, the premier was one of the best episodes of the series. and if you dont like leyton, why have you been watching it? its not as if most people actually doubted they'd get together, no matter if they were brucases or leytons! its been leyton since the first season.

Everyone who said season 5 was boring is impatient. Often times when shows are just starting off they aren't as drama and action packed as we would like them, and thats what season 5 was doing. It was pretty much introducing a new show, since most of OTH watchers were high schoolers, the makers would like to keep that audience. The reason why they skipped college is because they all went to different places, therefore they couldn't do anything like Boy Meets World or other shows that followed them through college. Therefore season 5 was simply a gateway into bigger and better topics on OTH and continuing to keep the older viewers in tune. I really think that if done right it could continue for a long time. They are bringing in some really good storylines that were not expected at all.
I actually think the exact opposite, OTH has never been this exciting... OTH is amazing. Awesome. I love everything about it.
i think this will prob be the last season:[as much as i LOOVEEE one tree hill this episode was v. disapoiting
what i hated most was the whole nanny carrie thing its getting so unrealistic and soap opera and she wasnt psycho like that before she was just in love with nathan theyre taking it wayy to far with the whole torturing dan thing
i reallly hope they get back on track with this show so we wont have another o.c. letdown
Idunoo anymore,.. i sort of agree with lawliet, kinda not, cus these ppl obviously grow up, you cant stay a teenager forever, and its about time they all settle down and get married, maybe it is the last season, in my opioinion the BEST SEASON was ONE, because it was just sooo fricken adorable!, how lucas was actuelly shy! and i just absolutly loveeddd itt!! it was the besttt! season 2 was fricken boring! and season three was like tottally a nott!! lucas and Brooke? no offence i dont like them togeather, i justt LOVE OTH!!! and i think it also will be the last season.. ? idontknow

And it is starting to be more grown up, becuz the characters THEMSELVES are growing up.. they can't keep acting like they're in high skool when they aren't.. ?! no ?
And mouth leaving really sucks, but i'm sure he'll have some appearences! :)
And as for Peyton and Lucas, YAY!! I've been wanting them together since season 1!! and now there it is!!
I personally have loved every season =) Some we're more boring than others, but something intersting always ended up happening!! But i have to say that season 6 is looking at being the best one yet!! =)
And i'm trully hoping that it won't be the last one.. but it might be becuz how long can one story line go on for ? i mean the writers will eventually run out of things to write about, it'll get boring and have less viewers and just end like The O.C. did... but if it's not the last season and they can keep the stories/drama coming, BRING IT ON :)
i think oth is still aweesome, i love it that peyton and lucas are back together, been wanting them since s1 too. (: oh i just want Brooke to fall in love with someone so that oth will be more exciting than it is now. (:

I think this new adult version of them is pretty awesome.
The people that think the previous and current season of OTH is boring must be little teenage kids just wanting to see sex, and drugs. OTH is different because they touch on real life issues. Also all those ppl thinking OTH is boring probably watch gossip girl...which is the most retarded show. OTH teaches people lessons. If you actually realize that show has secret lessons for life.
