My Name Is Earl is not moving to TBS. Though this was the latest possibility as of yesterday, today it has been confirmed that financially this won't be an option. The show is really dead this time.
Here is a final statement from a studio rep (via AusielloFiles
"While we had hoped to find a way to produce additional episodes for TBS, in the final analysis we simply could not make the economics work without seriously undermining the artistic integrity of the series. As none of us, [series creator] Greg [Garcia] included, want the show to go out on anything but a high note, we regret that we must put to rest any speculation that Earl will continue. We are grateful to everyone at TBS for their enthusiasm for the series and wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to the cast and crew of My Name is Earl for their incredible work."

Oh! bloody A-holes! How could they do such a heartless thing to such a funny wierd show I mean why, why!!. So what now all the great shows have ended their season others are cancelled and some actors have quit the show, so the show most go down (Yes! I'm talking about you Zach Braff I HATE YOU sniff sniff).
What am I going to watch now, America got talent, two guys having a cat fight or britain next top model... I Don't think so!!!

What is wrong with the t.v executives canceling some of the best shows on television? The Unit, Without a Trace, My Name is Earl, Life, Reno 911 was good for a laugh!. And Kings was a good show with lots of potential! And with shows like Prison Break and The Beast not returning there is ample room for these (and other) quality shows to be moved around and tried in different time slots. I do not understand the people that let this stuff happen, but shows like Gossip Girl, 90210, and Melros Place continue to air! But hay, at least Privileged, The Beautiful Life, and Eleventh Hour (Rufus Sewell is too creepy! I prefer Fringe.), won't be around next season!!
