Dear TV Gods, No More Cougars, Please

The latest TV cougar has been cast.


Gail O'Grady (American Dreams!) will be joining the Desperate Housewives cast in what is being called a Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City)-esque role.


Glad to see O'Grady getting some work...but...must every woman over the age of 40 that gets cast in a TV show play the cougar role?

    at least Samantha's relationship with smith was something that you could root for, but what's with this sudden necessity to be cool by using that idea [esp. gossip girl--the whole idea was a piss poor attempt to make Nate interesting, an apparently impossible feat]
