when does season 2 start?

I love this show so much and cant wait to see season 2 does anyone have any idea when the new season starts?

    I read on another newsgroup that "Network officials will only state the next season will air in early 2010." ;-( I surmise this may be because Toni Collette lives in AU and has a movie career to look after.

    The good news is that they finished writing the season a couple of days ago. I'll try to ask Diablo again.
