No this is not a bad joke, Rupert Grint has caught a mild version of H1N1 (aka. the swineflue) his agent confirms.
The Premier of Harry Potter is a few days away, but Grint is said to have recovered and is looking forward to appearing at the premier along with the rest of the cast.
