Twilight ripped off Vampire Diaries

The Vampire Diaries book series came 14 years before Twilight. Twilight ripped it off, not the other way around. They only seem new because L.J. Smith took a decade hiatus from writing and they are only new being REPRINTED. While the TV show may come on the heels of Twilight's success, Twilight would not exist if The Vampire Diaries had not come first. So pay some respect to the pioneers.

    Okay well first of all, there is a one in a million chances that stephanie meyer read the vampire diaries,,, and second of all: she came up with the book by having a dream about a part of the book........no one ripped off anyone,, there is just for some reason a huge vampire epedemic.
