Tina Fey's acclaimed NBC sitcom, 30 Rock, has locked in syndication deals with two cable networks: Comedy Central and WGN America.
In an impressive off-network sale, the outlets worked together to snag the Emmy-winning series for $800,000 per episode in total from separate deals. 30 Rock also fielded offers from TBS and E!
While the portion of the fee that Comedy Central fronted is not specified, Variety reports it to be one of the highest in cable-syndication history for a comedy though it's reportedly less than the $750,000 Lifetime paid for How I Met Your Mother and the $800,000 FX shelled out for Two and a Half Men.
30 Rock begins its syndicated run in the fall of 2011 on both networks. In the meantime, Season 4 starts on NBC on Oct. 15.
