SheridanPassell Send a Compliment at 8:53 PDT, 8 September, 2008The Departed soundtrack. The Departed is a popcorn film. Lets be clear about that right from the start. Its Casino, only better. William Goldman would call it a comic book movie. So when we talk about how much fun the movie is, lets bear in mind Taxi Driver, King of Comedy, and Mean Streets, and keep our feet on the ground. Spiderman 2 was a good film, but if Stanley Kubrick had made it youd punch him in the face.
Scorsese knows how to use a tune, but...
