It has Jerry Bruckheimer at the helm and Dylan McDermott as its leading man. Two points there. It's yet another dark cop show. Minus half a point there. (Really? Do we need another cop show...even if it's filling a summer void? Maybe. Maybe not.) One more point for the addition of Nicki Aycox of Supernatural, which is a favorite of Team WWK here.
So what does that add up to for Dark Blue, TNT's new drama about a team of deep undercover police officers? You tell us. As we do with all notable new shows, it's time for you to vote on whether Dark Blue should stay or go.

save it ok its another cop show but i love cop shows so iam hooked and it pulled me in when it opened with a great torture scene

Hmmm...well The Shield has concluded its run now but that was supposedly an amazing cop show. Other older ones: The Wire and NYPD Blue. There's also Southland which just started this spring, all of the Law and Orders, the now canceled The Unusuals, and I am sure I am forgetting a bunch!
I.m a cop. You can never have too many cop shows. The reason.....wait for it.......the crimes keep getting more interesting and the cops investigating keep coming up with more interesting ways to catch the very interesting criminals. There is so much material to use.
This show is the bomb......
I like this show because it's different than the others. It's about deep undercover work. To my knowledge, there are no other cop shows about this. The great thing about this subject (deep undercover), is the thin line between undercover agent, and criminal (for lack of better term; sorry it's kinda late), as well as the psychological toll it takes on the agents. You can see the struggles of each character during each passing episode, and that, along with the new/unique vibe (at least to me), is what I think makes this cop show stand out among others.
The show has just enough mystery and intensity to make it interesting. But in some ways it's sort of a non-scifi version of the now canceled "new Knight Rider" series.
Whether or not the show has a future is up to the masses, as for me...it's interesting enough.
never ask 'do we need another cop show'. I am hooked on cop shows. And I certainly like this one...
That it's a cop show, is true you can never have too many cop shows. But this show itself? hmmm I don't know is not off the hook show is just an OK show. I expected more from Jerry Bruckheimer.... so to me if it goes I wouldn't be too sad about it.

i dont usually like cop shows, but this one is interesting :)
yee, ill admit some episodes were a bit borinng,
buuut it should b saved for another season.
