Mischa Barton's starring role in new TV show The Beautiful Life is in doubt - as she awaits medical clearance to begin production.
The 23 year old was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold on Thursday, after reportedly suffering a meltdown and calling cops to her Los Angeles home the previous day.
