While there is still no final word on the matter, but Torchwood star John Barrowman reveals that he was flying to Los Angeles to talk with Desperate Housewives people for a possible role. Barrowman, 42, best known for playing Captain Jack Harkness on Doctor Who and eventually Torchwood, adds that it's still too early to discuss it.
"I'm off to Los Angeles on Sunday again. I probably shouldn't say this but I've got a meeting with the execs of Desperate Housewives," he told Radio 1's Chris Moyles. "Can you believe it, I'm going to be a Desperate Housewife!"
In other Desperate Housewives season 6 news, Jesse Metcalfe is also due to return to the ABC series to reprise his role as the gardener. There were also rumors of Britain's Got Talent alum and worldwide singing sensation Susan Boyle making a cameo on the upcoming season, set to kick off on September 27.
On the premiere, Desperate Housewives fans will find out who Mike has married in the season 5 cliffhanger. Tom, meanwhile, is a real-estate agent and in college. Bree is struggling to keep her affair with Karl away from Orson, while Lynette's pregnancy is starting to take a toll on her. Finally, the Susan-Mike-Katherine love triangle starts to heat up with the start of a new chapter, while Ana continues to push Gaby to the edge.

I am really missing anything by not watching this show, because if Jack Barrowman's going to be in it makes me curious.
I had stopped watching DH a while ago then started again when Nathan Fillion had a guest stint.
I think watching John Barrowman on Desperate Housewives would be a real treat. You might want to familiarize yourself with the rest of the season though instead of just watching his episodes.
