Campbell Scott Joins Third Season of Damages

Campbell Scott has been cast for the upcoming third season of Damages, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Scott (Six Degrees, Royal Pains) will be a series regular, but details about his character and impact on the season are still under lock and key. Production on the new season is set to begin in late September, and the show will premiere in January 2010.

Since we don't know details, let's speculate! Scott could play a new client or past friend of Patty's, or of course, a Ted Danson-esque baddie. What if he were Ellen's new boss? If we know Damages, he could be any combination thereof.
