Chuck Buzz: Might the Show Be Back Sooner Than We Thought? - Featured

Though slated for a midseason return in 2010 - it's starting to look like a serious possibility that Chuck may return to the airwaves sooner.

Why?

NBC might have some schedule space opening up in the near future. Not only did they just opt to axe Southland before even letting its 2nd season premiere, but none of their new shows have exactly broken out (Much as we love Trauma's SF setting, we're thinking that this stink pile will be among the first to go...and what do you know, Trauma currently airs on Monday nights - a familiar place for Chuck).

EW's Michael Ausiello has a mole that claims Chuck may see airtime on NBC as soon as late October - though during which timeslot is still not yet known. Even better, should Chuck return in the Fall, it increases the likelihood that it will receive more than its initial 13 episode order!

I'm really in love with Chuck, and the fact that it's considered an underdog show, just keeps me interested in the show and it's future success. When I heard that it wouldn't be until next year that we would see the first episode of the new season it was greatly disappointed, I couldn't wrap my mind around why it would take the show that long to return to the air. But hearing this potential early return news has brighten my night :)

I actually kinda like trauma, actually im beginning to like it more and more, what i dont like is on that show as soon as they start a new scenario and you see new characters, you know something awful is about to happen to them, i wish there was more involved in the show so you didnt feel like you already knew what was going to happen.

For all of you 'Chuck' fans. If NBC had just given the axe to 'Southland' (which is a terrrific show) then they'll more than likely give the axe to 'Chuck'. Chuck is garbage and so is every other show on NBC besides The Office, Tonight Show w/ Conan and 30 Rock. I'm sorry but the fictional series where a computer geek turns into some agent just seems to be over played now these days.
