NBC may have canceled Southland last week, but all hope is not yet dead for the gritty police series (which already happens to have 6 season 2 episodes shot and ready to go).
The Hollywood Reporter states that talks between NBC and TNT regarding a Southland pickup have advanced.
What's more - TNT shares a corporate parent with NBC (Warner Bros. TV, who produces Southland) and would appear to be a good thematic fit, as they are already airing a variety of cop-themed shows.
Would you follow Southland over to TNT?

I hope they do pick it up, we don't get it over here in the UK but I caught the first season online and thought it had real promise. I was upset to here it might be taken of the air because it's too dark for the 9pm slot.
definitely would watch tnt if southland crosses over
First, stop spamming Lixiangwc.
Second, I HOPE TNT PICKS IT UP
I remember reading somewhere that Southland had really good ratings. Why cancel it?!
I didn't even know it got canceled I came on here seeing when the new premiere date was and discovered this saddening news. Southland was a great show, in fact it was the main show I was waiting for to return this fall.
It would be a perfect show for TNT to add to their lineup.
I would definitely follow! Such a good show. NBC is so insanely stupid it's no wonder they're at the bottom of the ratings.
OMFG!!!! I hope this is true and they pick it up
Too many cop/medical/reality shows Put them on the back burner where they need to be (at 12a-1am if possible) Notice there is no Sci-Fi in prime time on broadcast.
And the proposed rehash/update of 'V' is splintered to first 4 shows in Nov then disappear until MAR? You're gonna lose the audience because we will have gone on and set our winter schedules for living LIFE in the winter. I liked it better in the old days when Sept was the rollout month then at least the shows lasted until DEC.
