News
Here's some happy Friday news for fans of Mercy, Community and Parks & Recreation.
NBC has picked up all 3 series for full seasons.
From Zap2it:
"None of the three shows has made a whole lot of noise in the ratings (Mercy is the leader of the three, averaging 7.8 million viewers a week), but as NBC tries to climb out of its fourth-place hole, it's opting for a measure of stability in the second half of the season."
We recently mentioned both Community and Parks in our Fall Things Reconsidered feature. While I noted that I don't feel like Community has lived up to its potential just yet, I'm happy that it's getting a full season to grow. And...as I mentioned...I think Parks has been much improved in its second season, so I'm thrilled that it will be sticking around.
Which of these series are you most excited about their pickups?

So so sooooooo glad Mercy got picked up.
Glad those three shows get picked up. I didn't expect to like Mercy but it's actually better than what I originally anticipated. Community is hilarious and Parks & Recreation is definitely getting better... so for once, NBC actually makes the right decision.
