I mean I like Lois she is a bad ass and her body is absolutely slammin' but Lana did become a hard ass with her training and even tho she is petite she can kick ass. Not to mention I think she does beat Lois in a looks contest, BUT you also have to take into account that Lana is very whiny and annoying sometimes and Lois seems like a cool chick to hang out with. I mean she loves beer pong!
Personally I would like a combination of Lois's personality and body with Lana's face. LOL
What do you think?

Lois, hands down. And remember, Lois grew up knowing how to fight thanks to her Army General dad. Lana was whiny and annoying and definitely not right for Clark, even if one doesn't take into account the whole Lois&Clark Superman destiny thing.
I think Lana was purposely made whiny whether it was in the comic books (not sure) or only in the TV show (or both) to show how juvenile Clark was for liking her. It showed that he still had a lot of growing up to do. Lana WAS a girl and Lois IS a woman, even tho they showed how much Lana grew up with her Isis program and NOW she isn't just that pretty dizzy cheerleader obsessed with popularity and football players as she was WAY BACK WHEN (wow I cant believe that was 10 years ago!). That is one of the things about Smallville having gone on so long is that we all have grown up with the characters which I think is pretty cool. I like how they ended Lana's character as her finally coming into her own and becoming her own person and a strong woman (who isn't destined to be with Clark/Superman). To me, when I really think about it, especially now that Lana has grown up into a strong woman, there isnt that big of a real difference between Lois and Lana. So taking all of this into account im going to have to vote for Team Lana and only because she is just slightly cuter than Lois (if they were the same cuteness Id probably choose Lois :P).

I personally in the beginning was in love with the whole Lana and Clark coupling, and there ups and downs as a couple and all the things they had to go through to officially become a couple, but like most of you I was put off by how whiny they made the Lana character. But I'm a hopeless romantic, so I tuned in to watch it and therefore grew a liking to the Lana character and her relationship with Clark, even though in the back of my mind I knew that if the show would continue on the Lois character would have to be introduced because that's how the superman story is supposed to go, and low and behold season 4 was the season for Lois. Since that season, I tried to remain an avid supporter of Lana, but there was something about the way Erica Durance played the part of Lois that intrigued me and kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what she would do or say next, and slowly but surely, I crossed over and became a huge fan of the Lois character. Don't get me wrong though, because after they kind of upgrade Lana and made her into this ass kicking, manipulative, deceitful bad ass, and independent woman, I was blown away, she was the sh%@. So till this day it's kind of a deadlock situation because it's so hard to choose, ass kicking Lana, or bad ass Lois?

Lois by far even though i did like the Clark&Lana saga Lana had her moments but i dont know there is just something about lois. I just wish Clark&Lois would hurry up and get together and most of all i carnt wait till she finds out who Clark really is. After watching roulette its pretty clear oliver still has feelings for lois which i personally dont like after he can see Lois is in love with Clark and he knows shes is obsessed and in love with the Blur and he knows that the Blur is Clark anyway Its goin to be an exciting season i tell u that.

Lana in the first couple seasons with the clark thing going back and forth would have won it for me if I compared the now a days lois to back then Lana, but to be honest they ruined the lana character for me when they started all her 'training' and ended it with some super suit bull$hi7!
(plus she put on some weight!)

lois!!!! Lana started sweet but then she started getting annoying! I'd get irritated with her showing up all the time at the barn...hahaha and also when lois and clark was suppose to kiss... she shows up again!!! at the barn!!! lol. Definitely Lois. :)
Lois. why? because of her kick ass, in-your-face, i don't take crap from anyone attitude. she's brilliant when she needs to be and doesn't complain about things.
Lana was sweet and cute to start off with but the way Erica portrays Lois, she's so witty and although she's tough, she honest and refreshing.
oh, and yea, forgot to mention the whole lana being annoying thing. lol
Lois...without a doubt, 100% Lois...her and Clark are sooooo cute togev and so much more passion and heart...When Clark was with Lana it was depressing and whiney, with Lois its more fun and even with the serious bits u can still see the brightness as apposed to the dark dankness of Clana!
I am going to have to revise my earlier statement....See I had watched episode 5 when Oliver gets his mojo back but I hadnt watched episode 4 with the whole Lois and Clark wanting to go out on a date (which I watched today). Lois's wit and snide remarks are amazing and i could stop smiling as I was listening to her for the last couple of minutes of the episode. Their exchange at the end was too cute (and im going to have to say Lana as a fling and Lois as a girlfriend. ;)
Is this even for real? How can anyone even contemplate saying Lana is better. Just when fans get what they had been waiting years for with clark beginning to truly like lois and lois like him back, Lana returns and the whole world stops for her. So much so the Lois character was actually shunned out of the program for 4 episodes. I mean come on Lana wasn't even on the title's anymore yet 4 episodes revolved around her. Talk about back peddling on the whole superman saga. Seriously, she was great at first, but it really was just annoying by the end, Lana being infused with kryptonite was one of the greatest moments of the show, it meant she was gone for good, and wouldn't hog the story lines any longer.
Lois no contest. I think you guy's are right about her started sweet but then she started getting annoying! Come on Lana got married to Clark ex best friend (lex) who those that. I wound not trust Lana. didn't she use clark DNA to make the super suit ?
