About the film:
Reporter Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) is in search of his next big story when he encounters Lyn Cassady (Academy Award winner George Clooney), a shadowy figure who claims to be part of an experimental U.S. military unit. According to Cassady, the New Earth Army is changing the way wars are fought. A legion of "Warrior Monks" with unparalleled psychic powers can read the enemy's thoughts, pass through solid walls, and even kill a goat simply by staring at it. Now, the program's founder, Bill Django (Oscar nominee Jeff Bridges), has gone missing and Cassady's mission is to find him.

I want to see how the government spends my money.
I think it looks like a very deadpan comedy, and love the cast.
I can't wait to see men who stare at goats for a few reasons. First off, I love this concept, psychic spies for the US military, for a movie and the fact that it is "based on a true story" just put it over the top for me. Secondly, what an amazing cast! This movie has 4 amazing actors, Clooney, Spacey, McGregor, and Jeff Bridges, that each have starred in fantastic movies. This movie looks fantastic I can't wait.
I want to see it because for a little over a year, without knowing this story existed, I have been joking around with my fiance's 10 year old grandson (when online) to stop starring at the naked goats. That he would go blind looking at them. Well come to tell, he recently had to get glasses and now the movie. Can we say irony, so you see I have to see the movie now.
This movie looks hilarious! It has a great cast too.
I am so excited about this movie, I love the previews and can't help but laugh every time they come on. I am so going to see this movie and I must apologize to my fellow audience members .I can not be handle responsible for the loudness of my laughter.

Lately, all I have seen are kids movies. Don't get me wrong, I love watching movies with my kids, but I need an adult movie. The commercials look great on this one. The comedy just in the commericals had me rolling with laughter. One of the few that I really want to see this fall.
im interested in seeing this film because it looks funny and because its not a cartoon or romantic comedy plus George Clooney is def. easy on the eyes!
I loved this movie because it had ewan mcgregor and george clooney in it. This movie didn't have the typical form of comedy which was great and I loved all of the jedi jokes. (Spoiler) Also, i'm glad they set all of the goats free.
I was very excited about this movie, because my friend is obsessed with goats. I know that sounds a bit strange, but she really loves goats. So, when we saw previews for a comedy involving goats, we got pretty excited.
I went to see the movie yesterday, and loved it! The cast was brilliant, and I loved the Jedi jokes! (Spoilers) One of my favorite parts was toward the end, when everyone is tripped out on LSD, and they are able to set the goats free! I also found the scene where Lyn crashes the car into a rock to be hysterical..."You had the whole desert to drive in!"
I am actually looking forward to seeing George Clooney do some kind of death stare at a goat until the poor animal tips over! A movie I'm sure will be a great laugh especially when a scene from the preview already ties in with the title of "The men who stares at Goats"- who wouldn't want to see that? I know this movie will be awesome!
I want to see it cause of the great cast and it looks very funny.
I actually read the book previously! I'm not to sure how closely it'll be based on the book but I'm definitely looking forward to Ewan's narration of how strange and bizarre the military can be.
I want to see it because it looks hilarious, the actors are great, and I want to see the goat fall over from mind control.
There is only one reason why i want to see this movie so bad, cause i want to see Clooney, Spacey, McGregor, and Bridges staring at goats, Hilarious!!!
looks like it's going to be my kind of weird comedy.
never really been one to believe that all the psychic stuff exists, but have always wished it did. bit of a superhero fanatic. sometimes i wonder how the world would be if these things exist, and how other people think things would go down and add it to the eclectic mix of possibilities in my imaginary universe.
i can't wait to see a government trying to put a handle on the paranormal. using goats.
great cast too, not to sure about ewan, but jeff(the DUDE no more need be said), george(not sure on mr.fox but brother where art thou = brilliant) and kev (Verbal/Keyser, Lex Luthor the negotiator) are okay in my books. it's nice to see clooney in a movie without brad pitt.
kick-ass title too, if this was a low budget movie, i'd probably think it was a animal fetishists documentary and avoided like the plague.

The movie was amazing. I feel like to be a jedi knight is all a really ned to aspire to. i have often felt like the odd one out in life and now i understand . JOIN TOGEETHER MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WE ARE THE JEDI. LETS SAVE THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clooney and Ewan McGregor make a fun team. I wonder if they used fainting goats for the movie? It was a blast. Highly recommended.
Who could resist the cast and the concept? Clooney rocks my socks off, and him staring at those goats tempts the money right out of my pocket. I don't usually go out to the movies, but I'm heading there this coming weekend to go see it. Also, I'm a sucker for movies based on books. :)

I am totally stoked to see this film because I can already tell its going to be hilarious. I mean seriously, it's called "The Men Who Stare At Goats," but it's based on a secret goverment organization made up of physics. I think my statement speaks for itself. Plus, it's got George Clooney, and he is ALWAYS great in anything he does.
