A character will be experimenting with her sexuality this season on 90210.
Recurring guest star Rumer Willis, who plays the lesbian character Gia, will bring out a new romantic side in Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes). A relationship will unfold for the pair in an episode slated for January.
"This isn't a fling," executive producer Rebecca Sinclair told Entertainment Weekly. "We're coming at this from a genuine place and not going, 'Let's do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.' This is a real aspect of teenager life that's interesting ... And there's been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters."

I'll tune in, but...groan. While I guess they have a point that the show lacks gay and bisexual characters...they can say what they want, but if they're going with Adriana, it's clearly just a fling.
Sigh...wth? Why Adriana? Couldn't they have just brought someone else on for that?
