season premiere maybe a bit forced

I'm used to Griffins giving really bad advice. I've also grown accustomed to Brian having bad or unfulfilled relationships with women. While I do wonder where Brian and Stewie's relationship is headed, none of that matters because they're not the characters getting ready to star in a new spin-off. Cleveland is, and it's Cleveland's dialogue that seemed off. It's as if he was being forced prematurely into a larger role in prep for his show, instead of being allowed to develop.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and it is only the first episode of the new season. Still, a lot of the episode was set up poorly. The "raining bitches" lines was one-liner gold but absolutely wasted by insufficient set up.

That doesn't mean it wasn't a good episode. Despite all the stuff I just said I still give it a 3 out of 5.

Welcome back, Family Guy!

BTW is premiere spelled right? I've forgotten how to spell a lot of words since I started studying French. You'd be surprised at how many English words come from French, like 'surprise' for example. Yay yahoo word o' the day!

Sure, i believe your right, this episode was not as good as family guy used to be, but still real funny.

Let's see what happens next and how the episode will be.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on the forced Cleveland role. If "The Cleveland Loretta Quagmire" episode never aired then I might agree. I think it played in nicely.
