zango is banned from this site. i wouldn't advise downloading it, according to what I've read on SideReel, you usually can't see the content anyway. if you see a link to zango content, do us all a favor and delete it.

    thanks!!

    thanks 4 hasty replies

so firefox basically replaces ure existing browser

once u have firefox is there a way of reverting back 2 internet explorer if u want 2?

  4. mueller696Send a Compliment - 11:47 PDT, 4 October, 2008

    yes. you can un-install firefox.

internet explorer still exists when firefox is installed. it is up to you to decide which browser to use.

And about ZangoCash, it's an adware, which means it shows relevant ads to your searches besides the Internet Explorer window. The ZangoCash tool can be easily uninstalled through the Add/Remove in Control Panel and it does not track your activity, neither it steals anything from your computer...

mostly you click the cancel button on the zango popup, and you can watch the vids anyway. it's not that annoying; i consider it like a advertising or somehing...

Learn how to speak proper English. If you know how to speak it properly then apply that to your typing.

Firefox is just another browser. personally i like it better. I think there are better add-ons and a better pop-up blocker. And definitely stay away from zango.

but dont believe what you hear about firefox. it doesnt replace the internet explorer and you will be able to use both.

I am getting the same problem with megavideo. it's downloading a few seconds of the video and then won't download the rest (but on the viewer it looks like it's all downloaded). Does anyone know how to stop this?

I know this is a bit off subject. but seems pertinent to some questions. I use explorer, firefox, and safari. I can use any and or all at the same time. Each have unique quality's.

    Hi,

OK, so "bad" Zango is banned from this site (i.e. sites that force you to download zango before viewing content). If you find these sites, delete the links and report the user to spamsucks@sidereel.com

As for Firefox, irrespective of whether it's better than IE or not, sites that tell you to download it by clicking on one of their links are usually earning commission for these downloads, and often don't have any unique video content. If you want Firefox, download it from http://getfirefox.com and if the site still won't display videos, report them to spamsucks@sidereel.com

    Thanks,

    muffinman =)

to get internet explore back all you have to do is if your using windows is go to the start menu and under the list of commonly used programs ( it is in two parts (one fixed and one changeable )) go to white space in the fixed list (if you don't have anything in the fixed list its the top of the menu) right click and select properties go to the customize button next to the bubble selection for the selection of the style of start menu then in the general section of the new window there is a internet selection that asks which internet you want as your primary internet and thats how you fix it if you want internet explorer back as primary if it doesn't work when you delete firefox oh and zango doesnt give you a virus it is a virus its part of the virus "My Web Search" along with "zwinky" and about 30 other different things like free pointer logos for your mouse, free pictures, and free screen savers. download one and you down load most of them

Firefox is great. I always used Internet Explorer for years until a friend of mine built me a computer and loaded Firefox for my browser on it. I didn't know what it was and he told me and told me it was better and I gave it a chance and I love it. The way it saves new pages is so much better than IE and it's just easier to use in my opinion.

As for Zango I'd stay as far away from that as possible. It sucks cause there are alot of good movies and tv shows on those sites with Zango, but if you look hard enough you can usually find what you're looking for somewhere else without zango on it. I was told that Zango is spyware which I think means that it makes it possible to track your movement on your computer and access your computer which is not good at all.

To whoever wrote about Megavideo... I have had problems with that also. Last time I was watching somthing from Megavideo it stoped and told me that I had watched like 90 minutes of Megavideo today and that I had to wait 90 minutes to watch more or sign up for Megavideo which I tried to do but it cost money so that sucked. I think they are charging money now which really sucks cause alot of videos are on Megavideo. If anybody has anymore info on this I'd like to know more... thanx.... NIN

True, sometimes you can watch the content by clicking cancel on zango sites, anyway i would delete any zango related link, its a really anoying and tricky add sistem.

And firefox its the best web browser in my opinion, IE is like: "hey popups come here! you are invited to open 5 windows without asking"

I have Zango, and it's fine. And YES it does let me view the meterial I've selected... For those of you who don't have Zango, don't bash it cause you obviously don't know whether or not it works, you're just going on opinion.. it works just fine.

if a page shows that stupid zango download thing, just disable JavaScript, reload the page and it wont show, u can reactivate JS later, but most of the time behind that zango shit theres just the same youku or whatever videos u find on any other site.

using Firefox btw and IE is just not in the same league^^

I've noticed the links that want to force you to use Firefox have some sort of content/popup/etc. that IE blocks automatically, so while I like Firefox, I'm wary of those links because of the potential computer hazard. There are usually always alternatives.
