errrrmm!!!

is it just me or has family guy lost its spark.... dont get me wrong it has its moments of genius but i dont know i cant place it, its missing something that it used to have and thats annoying cos family guy used to be amazing.

   they've ruined the show completely imho

   I think it happens with many shows...

   Its like some people say about The Simpsons...that the new epiodes are not so funny anymore... See here or here.

   
   

   Maybe they ran out of "sparky" stuff and they just write a story with those characters?

   I guess it depends on the episode...im sure some of them are still great fun to watch!

   I don't agree at all. It's not common for shows to be still so hilarious after 6 seasons. I still crack up nearly after every seen. I still can't wait for the next episode to come up. And don't everybody have "Surfing bird" stuck in their head by now? That's just a perfect example of how good this show still is.

   Family Guy and South park have definitely been stinkin'. I'm still hoping they will both recuperate/resussitate.

   Couldn't agree more... Its definitely sucking it up..last week's ep just happens to be the worst so far...I used to laugh.. now... there is no laugter...

    Though I hafta disagree greatly with stepfordwife about South Park.. It is still the shit and the story lines have only become much more brilliant over the years.

    I think Family Guy still has all the spark that kept me interested in the first place, so to answer your question, no it hasn't lost it's spark in my opinion. I think season 7 has been amazing this far.

    7 SEASONS THATS ALOT OF EPISODES... I JUST CAN'T PLACE IT BUT I TOTALY AGREE... WELL... I HOPE THERE JUST STARTING OUT THE SEASON SLOW OR SOMETHING.

    The first seasons seemed better 'cause we were just discovering it... it was the new hilarious thing on TV...

    Now, it's still very good, but we expect it to be that way, so it seems less funny.

    that newest episode, Road to Germany, was terrible. the quality does seem to be decreasing...

    After family guy came back, the writing really changed. I personally liked the first few seasons before it was canceled because the humor wasn't as...random? Also, the characters, like Peter Chris and Stewie, have all changed from then. So I guess it really depends on what you like. I still watch the show, but it's just not the same to me as when I began watching it.

    the show is only good if you leave you expectiations at the door .....along with ur self respect it pains me that peopel find something like 'the bird is the word' funny over and over again. i did used to find the show funny but to be a reasonable person u have to have discresion and to watch this show u cant have any. no offence to people who watch the show but to those who do... WATCH what is HAPPENING. NOT what is being laughed at
