Megavideo !! :(
Megavideo used to be my one favorite source to watch THE OFFICE!!! it was faster than all the others...now it has that inaccurate time limit, and you have to pay to join. it sucks...
is everyone else having this problem or is it just me in the country i'm in?

I've been having this problem as well. It will come up in the middle of a show and tell me I have been watching for a random period of time and that I need to wait two hours to use it again (or pay a monthly fee).
Per the second part of your question, I'm in the U.S.
Since when is this happening?
I just watched a movie and the office 2 days ago (on Friday night actually) and I didn't have any problem at all .. is this an overnight change? Or since when are you having this problem?
I'm in Canada ...
It stopped me in the middle and said I need to wait 2 hours also
Hey,, This happened to me also,, I was watching Smallville,, and it stopped half way,, sed I was using it for 84 mins (wen iv only used it for 20) and told me to wait something like 108 mins.... Annoying and very silly,,,, im in the U.K.
Agreed, and there's also a time delay for me. Like the sound is 1 second behind the image. Megavideo went down the drain for me.
I never had a problem with it stopping and telling me to wait 2 hours... but i have problems with voice delay... yeah megavideo has gone down the drain. I refuse to use Tudou and Youku, and Divx doesn't work that well for my Mac for some reason.
Had that happen to me a couple times already. Doesn't happen when I'm watching a movie seems to only be episodes. There's no way they're gonna make me pay for that, thats ridiculous. In canada
I've had the same problem while trying to watch a movie because episodes of shows are like an hour top and it tells you after like 80 min that you have to wait like 115 min to watch again and there is no way i'm paying for that.....megavideo use to be my favorite but here lately there have been problem with the sound being in sync so now i usually look out for Divx, i've never had a problem with them so I will stick with them as much as I can for now on
Now I know what you guys mean .. I was watching Heroes and it stopped at the middle saying I had to wait 120 min cause I watched 64 already.. yeah right.
Then I tried another link from sidereel, which happened to have a Megavideo video as a source. I watched the episode of Heroes (the one that was interrupted) without a problem. So, I don't know, maybe if you hapen to find another website who has a link to Megavideo, then you can watch it.. not sure.
Megavideo was awesome, what a shame that they are pushing you move on or to pay.. don't know how many people will pay, but I'm sure I won't.
Don't know if its for tv shows or movies too..
I am in Israel and the time delay between the picture and sound is so bad on some things they are completely unwatchable. I have been trying and trying the find the episode "Sudden Death" from this season of the Closer through a site other than megavideo. It is many seconds off.
Listen up.
All you have to do is unplug your modem from the wall, replug it back in and surprise: a brand new ip number. After your internet comes back on, simply continue from where you left off. If Megavideo wants to track your ip number, change it.
Lol i dont know where you live, but static ip is standard in most countries. You can unplug as much as you want for most of you out there it wont work.
Do you know if the UK has a static IP?
I am really dissapointed with megavideo as well, unfortunately, it seems to be the main go-to website for the shows I love.
The number it tells you you've been watching is bogus, but the time you have to wait isnt. I have tracked it down to the minute and it actually lets me back on after the 'deemed' 2 hours... Its a hit or miss... maybe luck?
btw: Im studying abroad in Scotland but my home is the US
Ya, I had the same problem..but then i found a little trick. I have two internet browsers...internet explorer and mozilla firefox. This problem has only happened to me on internet explorer and never mozilla. So i think that if you have it or download it and use it to watch the megavideos of the office, it will work. I'm currently watching it right now and have been for the past almost 2 hours and it's worked absolutely perfectly for me..hope this helps!
To solve the problem with Megavideo tracking your ip address and to be able to watch more video, just visit Megavideo through a proxy! And if it happens again, switch proxies! proxy.org has more than 9,000 working proxies that are free to use.
i've been usin megavideo for like 6 months and not once have i ever seen that... im in denver, CO and i have a dynamic ip from comcast(is it true that static ip is a global standard!?!?) i usually link to megavideo from this site and i'll leave the sidereel frame up and just hit the fullscreen button... i dunno if this changes anything. BUT if you dont mind subs go to
http://channel.pandora.tv/channel/video.ptv?ch_userid=diesel35&prgid=31486328&categid=all&page=1
they got it all there.
same here. I had watched like 3 hours of dexter on megavideo and then half way during an episode it said i had been watching for 67mins and had to wait 2 hours or join up. Very annoying. I had never seen it before. This was about a week ago. And i am in Australia.
If it happened during The Office i would be so annoyed!!
THEY FIXED IT =D
They DID NOT ! please ask the mods to ban megavideo! i believe they are being paid, otherwise it would have been long banned, so it probably wont work. At least let them know how you feel!. DIVX on ninja only works for new shows for a couple hours, they too are now paid by megavideo.
