5 Underrated Spike Lee Films Worth Watching

Spike Lee is one of the most uncompromising filmmakers in America. His personal take on the black experience in the U.S. is something that shouldn't be missed in films like Do The Right Thing, Malcolm X, Get on the Bus and Crooklyn. His latest effort, the war film Miracle at St. Anna, is a bold entry that, unfortunately, is hampered by slow pacing and a clear lack of focus. Still, the film is striking at times, and Lee's visual flourishes and singular take on the source material make it worth watching.
