what happened to season six episode 6??

We have had a week without any episode of one tree hill? and its the same for Gossip Girl... Why is this?

    They don't run new episodes every week. Sometimes special programming interferes (like Tuesday's debate and most shows) or sometimes they just show a rerun. Most US shows have 20-24 episodes per season, but run over a period ranging roughly (depending on the show & the network) from September to May or so. That is a lot more weeks than 20-24, so they show reruns that allow people to catch up on missed episodes, do something else, etc. If you check an online TV guide, you will be able to keep up with when there are new episodes airing (or just use Sidereel since it always seems to know!).     They actually didn't skip this weeks episode of Gossip Girl... Only One Tree Hill. Not sure why one and not the other but they were running episodes of Privileged in its place.
