Thank you very much I am so frustrated right now. I have clicked on easily 7 or 8 links just to find out they are all BS. Thanks again. I wish more people were as diligent.

I'm waiting for someone to upload it to Mega Video... that's the only place I trust that it's the real deal.

Rusty1989, I would say half of the fake links I have deleted tonight were videos hosted on Megavideo. Most are simply a different ep of dexter...so you can't really go on the basis of it being on Megavideo.

Thanks, but you did delete a good link. I got 1/2 way and then I had to reload it and couldn't find it again. It was even a good working Divx one:(

Yes, I got you, I sometimes delete trashy or repeated links, I mean what's the use of placing a link to the same video but from a different website?

I need to marry you. I'm having the same issue.

  9. theDOCTORSend a Compliment - 10:38 PDT, 13 October, 2008

I HAVE WORKING LINKS FOR DEXTER... but Sidereel won't let me add them.

You DELETED TOO MANY. There's a daily cap on how many links you can delete (3 links). Because what do you think would happen if spammers could delete as many links as humanly possible? I think I could imagine what they would do...

  11. theDOCTORSend a Compliment - 13:19 PDT, 13 October, 2008

I believe that someone on the Sidereel team is the spammer, especially because I had posted WORKING links to Dexter season 3, episode 3, and the posts were deleted. Who could delete the post beside myself??? SIDEREEL!!! Here's the link. http://www.youtube.com/user/dexterocks1

    naughtok,

Two of the links I deleted partially loaded a DivX version of what appeared to be the correct ep, but both stopped at just over 50% even after multiple attempts, so I deleted them both.

    JustFugit,

I deleted over a dozen links, so the cap must be higher than that.

    TO EVERYONE

All it takes is ONE SECOND to delete a link when you find one that doesn't work. It saves everyone else time and makes it easier to find the good stuff without the garbage. If you can't delete them all, at least delete one!

    Thanks.

curiousgirl - Did you see my post? I think it's someone from Sidereel, a moderator, for many reasons.

    1. My posts of REAL LINKS in discussion threads are being deleted.

    2. We can not add or delete new links on certain websites now.

    3. The messages from people telling us to bring it up with spamsucks@sidereel.com - I'm sure more than just I have complained about "oldgregs" and yet nothing is being done about it. I have emailed sidereel about this, and so have many others. What's being done? Nothing, except that REAL links, and posts to links for working episodes, are being deleted. Who can delete them but the moderators? Who can stop us from posting/deleting but the moderators?

Please. Correct me if I'm wrong. Could there be a hacker? I wonder, because left and right my posts are deleted and I only have to wait a few moments for it to strike again - especially with this adamant of a post this time.

not sure what's going on right now, I can't delete any links either but I havn't deleted any for a while, maybe they've just stopped the ability for users, can anyone else delete? If so, is it just on other programs? Maybe there's a big problem with the dexter links and they've gotten frustrated...

    Hi there,

couldnt agree more. Sad, as Sidereel seems to be a good place also to communicate with people about the shows.

I only use the www.ninjavideo.net links since quite a while now, as their links work all the time. And I discovered 2 new UK series there, "No Heroics" and "How not to live your life". Both excellent and mad.

And the site has some good movie picks (small variety) made by their staff.

    Thought Id share

all the links posted in "The Lion Sleeps Tonight' are out of sync

  17. PinkmulletSend a Compliment - 20:21 PDT, 15 October, 2008

Hey guys, just some food for thought. Don't delete links that source the same video from different websites. some website don't work for some people, that's why they do that. And while we are on that note, make sure when you delete a link it's not JUST you that can't get it to work, for example Curious Girl posted:

"Two of the links I deleted partially loaded a DivX version of what appeared to be the correct ep, but both stopped at just over 50% even after multiple attempts, so I deleted them both."

That may have worked for other people, it could be YOUR connection fucking it up. This happens all the time, some people can watch videos while other people can't. All I'm saying is try your best to make sure it's a universal problem, not just your problem.
