Alyson Hannigan to Be a Mother; Is Lily Pregnant, Too?

Forget about the momma of Ted's children. How I Met Your Mother has a new (soon-to-be) mom in town: Alyson Hannigan.


The actress and her husband, Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel alum Alexis Denisof, are expecting their first child together next year, her rep tells TVGuide.com.

    it's possible that they will make lily pregnant. Did you notice that she didn't drink this whisky in the Intervention episode.... just sniffed it..

    I didn't notice that! Very observant.

    I bet they will make her pregnant. It fits with her character...so why not..instead of doing an awful attempt at concealing it!

    I'm happy so happy :-( for alexis and My alycat. She will make a great mother. I of course am a hug Alyson Hannigan fan. So I have mixed emotions about this.

    saule i also notice lilly not drinkin the whisky but she does comment on the taste and also picks it up 2 take it up steers back the there apartment she also doesn’t look pregnant there, and if she was and every one know about it then i don’t think they would have given it her in 1st place. Also its a year l8r after the intervention episode so im not convinced they write alysons pregnancy into the series. But could always get lilly pregnant with in the year and not wana tell Marshall.


    just a thought.

    it doesn't have to be because of pregnancy... maybe breast feeding or sth... and you don't have to drink an alcohol to patricipate in such event as opening 25-years old whisky.

    I think that making her pregnant in the show would be easier than pretending that she isn't. you know, with hiding her behind couches when her pregnancy will be visible.

    I hope they will make her pregnant in the show. It would be a great change for it, like one of a better angle. Last episode, Shelter Island, had tons of change but all of it was sort of negative. I mean there were some good parts, like with robin, but it all happened as a result to other things. A pregnancy would be a good thing that could bring out some different angles of the characters.

    The episode set to air on November 10th says that:

    "When Lily and Marshall contemplate making the life-changing decision to have a baby, Lily turns to Ted and Robin for advice and their very different points of view on the issue. "

    So I'm guessing there is a strong possibility that Lily will be pregnant.
