some sites really defeat the point of the 'world' wide web.. there ought to be a national wide web for them, or a way so that international users don't see links to sites which won't work anyway.. web 3.0 anyone?
i know it really gets on my nerves but if you download a isp anonymizer or what ever its called it will give you a usa isp instead of the one you have. im based in the uk i downloaded one called anchor free so when i go to US based sites like hulu and mtv.com it works well, its just a little slower to load but it works. hope this helps
I was going to suggest that, it's the one I use, just search Anchor Free in google and it will be there, like anita says though, tends to be quite slow, had a bit of trouble with NBC website and slow load times.
i am in singapore and a mac user, but my GF uses Windows. We both successfully use hotspotshield.com and works fine on hulu. the ads arent too annoying so its fine for us.
when its downloaded click on the hotspot shield launch icon...this will then take you to its website and it will authenticating then assigning isp etc. on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen (i.e. on the far right hand side of where the start button is) the hotspot shield icon should turn from red to yellow then finally green when its connected. if you have an antivirus software installed it wont work even. i have norton symantic and hotspot shiel doesnt work when norton is on so i have to turn it off. hope this helps..
i tried that but it still wont work when my antivirus is on. proir to whitelisting it, hotspot wouldnt even connect at all but after i whitelisted it hotspot would connect but not work i.e. it would not load any pages so i still had to turn my anti virus off.
Hotspot Shield comes with updates all the time. They no longer have a 3-5GB bandwidh limit per user mac address. If you're having any trouble with installing, launching or pairing the vpn software with a network site (NBC, Hulu, ABC) try this site:

that's always been the case, it due to US laws. It's the same reason you can't shows on any network site from outside the US.
* can't watch shows

I would not suggest turning off your antivirus shield. Can't you just whitelist it so they work together?
i tried that but it still wont work when my antivirus is on. proir to whitelisting it, hotspot wouldnt even connect at all but after i whitelisted it hotspot would connect but not work i.e. it would not load any pages so i still had to turn my anti virus off.
