And i'm guessing here but, you know how dan has to write an article about bart bass? and he's now going to die,
well i'm guessing when dan starts poking around for his article, he find's out bart is ill and that's what kills him.
It's just a theory but tell me what you think :)

Uhm, I think you might have gotten something wrong. Dan's story is about Chuck, not Bart. So, if you mean Chuck is going to die, that's completely impossible, seeing as he's one of the biggest characters (and probably the most popular) on the show. If you mean Bart, I guess that might be possible...
Have you ever considered that it might be Serena's grandmother who appeared in Season 1? There's absolutely no evidence to support any theories, but somehow that seems a lot more probable than Bart Bass randomly dying.
I was previously thinking it could be Bart Bass because they'd want to get in the drama of Lily marrying and not choosing Rufus, and then her going back to single and available with Bart's death, but after Rufus recently telling Lily it's not going to happen, I wonder if that romantic storyline is the one that's in fact dead. But if it's not Bart, who could it be if it is indeed a male character? Maybe Blair's dad?
eric finds out about something that bart has been keeping from lilly.
could it be that he's sick?
