Beyonce Wants to Be First Movie Wonder Woman

She sings, she acts, and now Beyonce is out to save the world: The former Dreamgirl wants to become the first actress to play Wonder Woman on film.

"I want to do a superhero movie and what would be better than Wonder Woman?" she told the Los Angeles Times. "It would be great. And it would be a very bold choice. A black Wonder Woman would be a powerful thing. It's time for that, right?"

Beyonce says she has met with DC Comics and Warner Bros. representatives about the possibility of starring in a Wonder Woman movie. Her films to date include Austin Powers in Goldmember and Dreamgirls, and she plays Etta James in the upcoming Cadillac Records.
