First it was on. Then it was off (damn you, Michael Cera).
And now...rumor has it that an Arrested Development movie is back on!
Jeffrey Tambor has stated in a recent interview that he has spoken with Development creator Mitch Hurwitz about the project this week...and while there's still not a start date for filming, that it's definitely back on.
How I hope this is true...

Man does that make me happy. I can't even tell you. Hopefully it will live up to the hilarity of the show itself...
Best day of my life, hearing this news. Besides the day I found arrested development.
The comedy seemed so effortless I can't imagine a movie that doesn't meet the same standards...I hope that's not a bad thing!
i love the show. i'm often disappointed by comedy films, so i hope it would be funny. it makes sense though - each episode often builds up to some stupid and chaotic climax that's suitable for film.
I think to sit there and watch a movie would be great I know I will watch it its like a grand finale! Like a season closer they never got or a mini series closer on FOX that they never got the green light on. It will be fantastic!
