Surprisingly Entertaining

Well... I watched this film intending to hate it... And found the movie had a 'charm' about it. The hand held camera accented the movie well, and the acting wasn't half bad either. As for the name (Cloverfield) it was designed as a 'cover name' until a real one could be decided... Cloverfield is the name of the street/area where everything goes down... Upon creating the movie- however- the cast/crew decided that they liked the mystery and misdirection of that name- so 'Cloverfield' it remained.
